Our story

In the summer of 2024, we proudly opened the doors to the Northumbria Health and Care Academy, a moment that marks an exciting new chapter in healthcare training and development. With a £32 million investment, this 8,000 square meter facility was designed to become a pioneering hub for the training of nursing, midwifery, and allied health professionals.

Our state-of-the-art Academy, which received planning approval in late 2021, brings together cutting-edge spaces for education, collaboration, and wellness. It features a world-class training centre, conference facilities, office spaces, and meeting rooms - all tailored to create an environment where continuous professional development is not just encouraged, but celebrated.

Located on the ground floor, Brockwell Medical Group has relocated to offer our community easier access to healthcare services. Additionally, our campus includes a drive-through coffee shop and a wellbeing walking trail, emphasising our commitment to promoting health and wellbeing for both our staff and visitors.
